Creating an account and browsing rides is always free. Drivers set their own per-seat prices to cover fuel costs. RideCarpooling.com does not charge commission on driver earnings.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Basic verification (email + phone) is required for all users. Optional government ID verification unlocks a Verified badge, which significantly improves your booking rate.

What countries do you operate in?

We operate across Canada, the United States, and Mexico — with cross-border routes available between all three countries.

How is payment handled?

Drivers set a price per seat when posting a ride. Passengers pay the driver directly at time of travel (cash or agreed method). Platform-side payment integration is coming soon.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. Cancellations made 24+ hours before departure are fully refunded. Late cancellations may incur a small fee. Check individual ride listings for driver-specific policies.

What if there is a problem during a trip?

Our support team is available 24/7 via the Contact page. For emergencies, always call local emergency services first (911 in Canada/USA, 911 in Mexico).
