When you register on RideCarpooling.com, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and optionally a government-issued ID for verification purposes.
Ride & Booking Data
We collect information related to rides you post or book, including origin and destination cities, departure times, seat counts, pricing, vehicle details, and any in-app communication relevant to a booking.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We retain only transaction IDs, payment amounts, and timestamps necessary for dispute resolution and tax purposes.
Usage & Device Data
We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, and session activity logs to improve platform performance and detect fraudulent behaviour.
Communications
Messages exchanged via our in-app messaging system, emails to our support team, and any form submissions are retained to provide customer service and resolve disputes.
