Background Verification
All driver applicants undergo a standard background and identity verification. This process typically takes 2–5 business days and is required before your first ride post goes live. Your privacy is protected — data is handled in accordance with Canadian PIPEDA, US CCPA, and Mexican LFPDPPP regulations.

Earnings are credited to your in-app wallet after each completed trip. You can transfer funds to your bank account at any time, with payouts typically processing within 24–72 business hours depending on your bank.
Yes! Our platform supports international routes across all three North American countries. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate visa or travel documents for cross-border trips, and passengers must also have valid travel documentation.
Our cancellation policy protects drivers. If a passenger cancels within 24 hours of departure, they are charged a cancellation fee that is transferred to you. Passengers who are no-shows forfeit their seat payment entirely.
You need valid personal vehicle insurance at a minimum. Some provinces and states may require ride-sharing endorsements. We strongly recommend checking with your insurance provider. RideCarpooling also provides supplemental liability coverage during active trips in participating regions.
Yes. You have full control over who rides with you. You can review each passenger's profile, rating, and reviews before approving or declining their request. There is no penalty for declining, though consistently declining may affect your search ranking.
The standard background and document review takes 2–5 business days. During peak periods it can take up to 7 days. We'll notify you by email and in-app notification as soon as your application is approved.
No minimum. You drive entirely on your own schedule. Post a ride once a month or three times a week — it's completely up to you. Your account remains active regardless of posting frequency.
