Prices are set by drivers at approximately CA$0.25 per km (roughly CA$0.20–$0.35 per km depending on route demand), charged per seat. The same seat price applies to every passenger regardless of age — no child discounts or senior rates. A 5% GST and 5% service fee are added at checkout. Drivers keep 70.01% of earnings — RideCarpooling reserves 29.99% for platform maintenance.

Yes. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure receive a full refund to your original payment method. Cancellations within 24 hours are refunded as platform credits. Drivers can also cancel rides, which triggers automatic full refunds to all passengers.

Not at all. Most of our users are passengers looking for affordable rides. Simply search for your route, filter by date and price, and book a seat. You can also post a ride request if no listings match your needs.

We currently operate across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Popular routes include Toronto to Montréal, Vancouver to Calgary, Winnipeg to Brandon, New York to Washington DC, and Mexico City to Guadalajara.

Drivers receive payouts via PayPal or direct bank transfer. Funds are released 24 hours after the trip is completed. Verified drivers get priority payouts and unlock instant booking features that help fill seats faster.
